Paks' training (Anyone is welcome) Empty Paks' training (Anyone is welcome)

Post by Paksennarion Sat Aug 23, 2008 4:23 am

Paks studied the wooden post in front of her. It was standing vertical, one end pointing straight up towards the sun and the other end embedded deeply into the earth. She took a step to the left and looked at it again. It was still standing just as sturdily, the light glinting off several kunai that had been embedded into the bark earlier. She took another step, effectively circling the post. The back looked almost identical to the front, which didn’t surprise Paks. There were a few different scratches and the projectiles were in different positions that on the other side, but Paks didn’t see why that really mattered. How was she supposed to replicate that exact pattern with the log on the other side of the field? Although as soon as she realized she was feeling doubt, Paks quenched down on those thoughts and banished them to the back of her mind. doubt breeds weakness Did it matter how? No. She just needed to do it. And soon. Her Father’s orders had been explicit and he would return soon. With that in mind, nothing else mattered. Paks surveyed the stump again. There were six kunai in all and two shuriken. But then angle… Paks tried to figure out how she could throw all eight projectiles at once, speed is akin to life or nearly at once and still hit the post in the correct places. Paks fluidly palmed her kunai and shuriken, situating them carefully in between her fingers. She stalked over to the unmarked post, stopping two meters away. Carefully Paks imagined the trajectories of her weapons, testing the wind speed and direction she added that element into her calculations. With a fluidness that belied her weak guise, Paks threw herself into the air, twisting so that when she threw her kunai, in groups of two or one, she was in a different position each time. Paks threw the shuriken last of all, and the solid thwak they made as they hit the stump supplemented the sound of her body hitting the solid ground in a crouch. She easily threw herself forward, pushing her body into a roll to minimize her impact. Paks shot to her feet right behind the post. She turned to survey her work. anything less than perfection is unacceptable

Kiza watched as the academy student had been training impressed with her hard work. He walked over to her to congratulate her on a job well done.
"Good job Paks." He knew who she was due to his bingo book so he decided to adress her by her name.

Paks almost flinched when she heard a voice. always be aware of your surroundings She swiveled around quickly to face the person who had spoken to her swiftly recognizing one of the most important people in the village. Even at her age, Paks knew who the Kazekage was. She knew what he represented too.

"Thank you Kazekage-sama," Paks said as she bowed low to be polite.

Kiza smiled at her politeness.
"It's good to see at even your age you are very polite. I seen you training and you have very great potential. What do you say about after graduating from the academy becoming my student?"

Paks couldn't help the fact that her eyes widened with shock. What? She quickly schooled her features, training with the Kazekage would be a good thing, right? He was the best ninja in her village and Paks was supposed to become as good a ninja as possible. It seemed logical to her, but there was always an off chance that she was missing something.

"I would be honored Kazekage-sama, but I would need to ask my parents for their approval first," she said seriously.

OOC - Fair warning, she's kinda creepy. I've already come up with her characterization...

OOC-Thanks for the warning then

"Ok, let's go see what they say now, because if they approve then we can start now with me making sure you know all the basic jutsu."
Kiza waited for Paks' response.

Paks nodded. It was best to start training early, that way she would be stronger earlier.

"Okay Kazekage-sama. I will bring you to my parents,"

OOC - Well, not bad creepy. Just kinda obsessed creepy. Think Haku only not... all nice. Plus she's little, her preceptions are skewed by her mixed up logic according to what a shinobi should be and all.

Paks started off, winding her way thought the trees. Her house was luckily nearby, and she knew at the very least her Father would be there seeing as he was the one who told her to train. Paks didn't know what to think about her current events so instead she ignored them. Thinking only of her surroundings and walking quietly.

Soon they reached a small complex. There was a metal fence, which Paks headed towards. She deftly pulled open the door and slipped through heading for the nearest house. It was a small house, only one floor. Made of clay like most other houses in Suna. Paks opened the door silently, stepping inside.

"Father? The Kazekage would like to speak to you," Paks called as a greeting. Turning to see if the Kazekage has followed her.

Kiza not wanting to be rude followed close behind to show he was a guest in their house and he was showing respect. Kiza looked as Paks as she turned around seeing if he was still there to show he was with her through this.

Paks nodded to him and turned back to the hallway. A man appeared from a nearby room. He appeared calm even as he spotted the Kazekage.

"Kazekage-sama it's an honor to have you here. May I ask what your purpose is?" He glanced over at Paks before focusing on Kiza.

"That would be an honor to our family. Thank you for taking such interest in Paksennarion." He nodded to himself, "If that is all, I have other buisness to attend to."

Paks glanced up at Kiza. For her Father to have agreed so readily he must be a really good shinobi.

"Do you have any other students Kazekage-sama?" Paks asked curiously, alebeit hopefully. If he had no other students she wouldn't have to deal with their idiocy, and he wouldn't need to split his attention between more than one student which was bound to mean that she would improve faster.
