*Ukokei walked into the room, looking at the bleakness of it. It had become a jail now. He grabbed the 6-tail Bijuu mirror and quickly performed signs.* "Mirror Release!!!" *He screamed, as the mirror shined, the 6-Tail Bijuu emerged in the room, letting out a loud piercing wail.* "This will be enough to test us." *He said staring at the beast.*

Shinichi followed quietly, thankful for his calm reserve born of years of being an exile. Had he been any less adept at it, he may have trembled in the presence of one of the great tailed beasts. After having hastily joined Akatsuki, only moments after finally letting his emotions erupt, and shortly thereafter confronting one of his old friends, being exposed as a traitor...and now to be partnered with the leader of the most feared shinobi group in the world, staring down one of nine legendary beasts...He might have lost it already by now, but for his father's words echoing in his mind. Cleansed by fire. He threw all his fear and doubt deep into the recesses of his mind, all but burning them away in the flame of his will. Running his fingers over the cool metal of his golden chain, he glanced over at Uko.

"A marvelous thing to be trapped in such a gloomy place..."

*Ukokei let out a small chuckle, continuing to stare at the beast.* "Not really. We're moving, effective after this battle. See while you were with you friend, I was taking out a small village for us to take for our own. I already built the headquarters. It's quite the home. But let's focus on the thing in front of us." *He said, steadily performing signs.* "Now I know you use fire." *He said as a mirror formed in front of Shinichi.* "Go in, but only after you have performed the signs for a jutsu." *He finished saying, right after the beast's tail had come down beside him.*

Shinichi nodded, flickering his eyes towards the tail that came down, feeling the rush of air from the velocity, though he managed not to flinch. Putting his hands into his clan's phoenix seal, he stepped towards the mirror, unsure exactly what was going to happen, gathering his chakra for a powerful burst.
"And then?"

*As he stepped into the mirror, Shinichi could see that part of him appear above, on the head of the beast.* "Knock him down." *He said calmly as the beast swung his tail, hitting him into a wall. The body broke into glass shards, followed by Ukokei stepping out of the wall grabbing them.* "As for the next part, I'll tell you after he's down." *He said, throwing the shards at him. The beast fended them off with bolts and quickly brought his tail at Ukokei. Ukokei snarled grabbing the tail with one hand, gripping it, holding it back as if it were nothing.* "Go!"

Frowning, Shinichi paused stepping through the mirror. His fire jutsu were powerful, but not substantial, it couldn't possibly have enough force to knock this thing down. Forming a string of seals quickly, and finishing with the phoenix seal as he finally stepped forward through the threshold, Shinichi gathered his chakra in large amounts and released the jutsu.
"Futon: Daitoppa!"

A great burst of wind shot forth, Shinichi's robes fluttering violently as the maelstrom hit, a force that could destroy forests thick with trees that had stood hundreds of years. Lacing the move with a blaze of hot fire, the simple noise of the burst was deafening, though the roar of the flames managed to overpower the powerful sound of the screaming wind. The flaming winds hit the Bijuu directly, and it roared its angry defiance as it was knocked back from the blow, engulfed by flames as it stumbled and fell to its side.

*He quickly finished the signs, so following the beast falling over several shards flew through the fire, quickly engulfed. The shards easily hit the beast, engulfing the beast in fire and broken mirror shards. After so, the beast began to turn purple. The beast was slowly becoming infected by the poison inside the mirrors.* "We might as well not do much more. He's already dead." *He said quickly walking from the beast.*

Shinichi stood stunned, looking at the beast as its color changed, then glanced over at Ukokei already walking away. There was no way it could have been so easy...when did he become so strong? A small sheen of sweat showed on Shinichi's forehead, a small tremor of fear returning, the fear of his own power. But he shook it off quickly, setting his lips in a firm line. He no longer needed worry about what damage he could do... In fact, doing excessive amounts of damage was now in his job description. He followed Ukokei quietly, glancing back once more at the defeated beast, then looked back no more, sliding his fingers over the cool chain of his necklace.

"You have done well." *He said smiling.* "I expect great things from you as my partner." *He continued walking away, vanishing.*
