Hidden Copse (Private)

Paks was waiting to see what Amimono-san would respond with. When he nodded and seemed to agree with her choice, she took a deep breath, getting oxygen to her body. She was lucky she had done so, because without a warning he launched a kick straight at her. Paks pivoted on her right foot, twisting all the way around so that she avoided his kick but also so that she was in a good position to jam her elbow back at the side of his leg.

Anei grinned watching her, bending his knee till he was almost laying on the ground, even her low elbow passing above his outstretched leg. Before the burn in his leg grew too much he reached his hands behind him and threw his legs up, so that he was in a handstand, aiming the shin of his kicking leg at her extended elbow as it flew up.

Paks watched in slight awe as Amimono-san bent backwards to avoid her blow. She had never fought someone who did not solidly block or dodge an attack. This would be good she thought, she was glad that she had not taken to underestimating her opponents. When he sprung into a handstand, she was further shocked, but tried to dodge his leg again. She pulled her arm in, quickly, just narrowly avoiding his leg. Paks sprung backwards trying to gain some distance as she processed this new development. She would not allow this to affect her. At all. Paks watched him closely from her position a meter away.

Anei leaned forward, letting his legs fall forward, he all but rolled fluidly onto his feet again, looking at her still smiling, sinking into a gentle stance that would be easy to move around in.

"Not bad at all Paks-chan! Impressive to avoid me so well, many people are thrown off by the abnormal style...very good reflexes."

Anei smiled warmly at her reaching into his coat and pulling out a pair of shuriken, throwing them at her with medium speed.

Paks sprung to the side, putting more distance between the area she had just been in as the shuriken flew by. She cocked her head to the side, watching Amimono-san. He was maintaining a stance similar to what she though his personality was like. Fluid and elegant, the aestetic property intruiged her. Her movements must look like clumsy ones next to that. Paks mentally calculated the area between them. She would just have to work harder than.

Paks threw herself forward into a hand-spring, vaulting off the ground. But instead of moving straight she threw her body to the left, rolling as she hit the ground. She used her momentum, built up from the force of her jump to continue her roll and give her enough time to reach up and brush her hair back behind her ear, as if by chance. She carefully cradled one of her special senbon in her hand. When her momentum slowed slightly she was close enough to him that she threw her leg out, attempting to trip him. Since she was still on the ground this left her slightly vulnerable.

Anei watched with a grin as she demonstrated her own acrobatic ability. It lacked a certain finesse,but more than anything else that was merely aesthetic in value. He jumped over her as she went to trip him, in a sort of no arms cartwheel, one of his hands reaching down to tussle her hair a she flew over, landing nimble on his feet on the other side of her.

Paks froze. What just happened? She was confused. Why had he? Why... Paks decided that if she ignored the action she would not have to think about it. So she ignored the fact that he had touched her head and not attacked. She flipped back, onto her feet and turned to face him. Paks palmed a kunai and took a step towards him, slashing with her kunai in a downward stroke towards his leg.

Anei could not help but chuckle heartily even as he landed, having felt her tense up. She was slowly beginning to make more sense. So she seemed so direct and focused due to a lack of any sort of emotional connections, unless he missed his mark. He pivoted on the leg she wasn't aiming for, spinning around the outside of her with a low spinning kick.

Paks deftly brought her hand back up, in a crecent shaped slash, aiming for his incoming leg. She pressed forward slightly adding a little more strength to the attack.

Anei arched his brow a little and took a deep breath, jumping up with his grounded leg still spinning, so that he went into a barrel roll over her slash, landing in a very low stance on the ground off to the side of her, wondering if she was gaining any agility experience from this just yet. though in truth it was not her body he had intended to try and train here.

Paks almost stumbled forward due to her previous momentum, but managed to gain her balance through both skill and force of will. Stumbling was ineptitude. She spun around instead, throwing her kunai at Amimono-san, aiming for his mid-area. Then in the wake of the kunai, hidden behind its larger bulk she tossed her senbon which she had been keeping a hold of still.

Name: Kinubari Senbon

Type: Senbon

Range: Normal senbon range.

Appearance: These senbon are specially crafted out of a precious metal which absorbs light instead of reflecting it. They are made to be thinner than normal senbon and thus much harder to spot, since light doesn’t bounce off of them this makes them extremely more subtle than normal senbon. They are lighter than normal senbon also.

Abilities: Their only ability is that they do not send off light like normal weapons. They can be slightly faster too, but that depends on the users skill.

Weakness: These senbon are hard to use. Only someone who intimately knew senbon would be able to successfully employ them. They are lighter and thinner which makes them weaker than normal senbon, thus they do notably less damage.

Anei watched her movements carefully even in the heat of battle analyzing her. He saw some extra movement, though he wasn't sure what it was. Some trick to the attack no doubt. He jumped a little off to the side so they both flew past him,though he failed to notice the senbon behind the kunai. He tilted his head watching her now, deciding to just wait to see what she would do next.

Paks nodded, that usually did not work unless there was a distraction involved which made it the lesser of two evils. Amimono-san dodging was not surprising. Paks threw another kunai at him, this time without a senbon but she still motioned as if she had thrown one. Then she ran to the side and threw another kunai, including one of her senbon, a hairs breath below it.

Anei kept his face the same, a small smile and glowing eyes as he sidestepped the first pair and bent back a little so that the second pair flew harmlessly over his chest, then stood up straight and smiled at her, still watching, though while his eyes were apparently soft and friendly he was carefully studying her now.

Paks was not discouraged. She simply told herself to try harder. Paks ran forward, sending a bit of chakra to her feet to increase her speed. She had yet to really try a frontal assault, although she highly doubted its effectiveness it would be a way of seeing Amimono-san's capabilities. When she got close a few meters from him, she lunged forward, jumping slightly so that she could reach higher up and send a punch at his face. She followed up by twisting in mid-air and kicking with her left leg, as her body fell downwards.
